Hier, l’Académie des Oscars a dévoilé sa liste des nommés pour sa 96eme édition qui aura lieu le 10 mars prochain à Los Angeles. Une liste balancé entre le très attendu et la surprise. Comme prévu, trois films ont beaucoup fait parler d’eux : Barbie, Oppenheimer et Killers of the Flower Moon… mais pas tous pour les mêmes raisons.
En terme de « représentation », les grands gagnants sont Oppenheimer en tête avec 13 nominations, Pauvres Créatures de Yorgos Lanthimos avec 11 mentions et le scorsesien Killers of the Flower Moon avec 10 citations à l’Oscar. Oppenheimer impose ainsi sa stature de grand favori pendant que Barbie fait grise mine. Si le film concourra à l’Oscar du Meilleur Film, sa réalisatrice Greta Gerwig et sa comédienne Margot Robbie n’ont pas été nommées ! Une sacrée surprise qui a étonné la presse, tout comme l’absence de Leonardo Di Caprio. En revanche, cocorico, Anatomie d’une Chute de Justine Triet entre par la grande porte avec 5 nominations, et dans les catégories majeures en plus ! Meilleur Film, Meilleure Réalisation, Meilleur Scénario, Meilleur Actrice… Reste plus qu’à lui souhaiter un destin à la The Artist maintenant !
